The Arundel Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank the Greater
Crofton Chamber of Commerce, along with TLC, Inc. and the Crofton Kiwanis
Club for recently donating to the department.  This spring the annual Dave
Espie Charity Golf Tournament was held at the Crofton County Club.  Over 120
golfers participated and many local businesses donated to the event.  The
proceeds were given to the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department and the Crofton
Caring Council.

The day of the event was a huge success.  Members of the Ravens cheerleaders
were in attendance signing autographs, helping to raise more funds and cheering
golfers on as they took to the greens.  On July 14th a check for over $7,000
was presented to the AVFD.  Thank you to all the golfers and local
businesses that supported this event! We would also like to express our
sincere thanks to Bob Carr of TLC, Inc.  Bob extensively worked to coordinate
efforts between the GCCC, Crofton Kiwanis Club and the AVFD.
